About Cairns Roofers

Cairns Roofers at a glance

Cairns Roofers is run by Just Digital, a company registered in Indonesia.

The service is new. A person at Just Digital reads each request and passes it on by hand to one independent roofer who holds a current QBCC licence, after checking the licence on the public register. The roofer decides whether to take the job, and if they do, arranges a look at the roof and a written quote. The site cannot promise a reply time or that any roofer will take a job.

• Name: Cairns Roofers, at cairnsroofers.com.

What Cairns Roofers does, and what it does not do

What it does

• Takes your request through the form on this site.
• Checks the roofer's QBCC licence on the public register before passing any request on.
• Passes each request by hand to one independent roofer.
• Publishes general advice on what to ask a roofer and what to get in writing.

What it does not do

• It does no roofing work, does not inspect roofs and gives no advice about a particular roof.
• It does not charge homeowners. Nobody pays the site today. It expects to be paid by the roofer who receives requests, never by you.
• It does not post your request to a list, share it with other tradies or sell your details.
• It does not promise a reply time, a price or a result, as the terms of use say.

Any roofing contract is between you and the roofer. Each step from request to written quote is on how it works.

Who checks the roofer's licence, and how

Just Digital checks the roofer's licence before any request is passed on. The check is done on the QBCC's public online register and covers three points.

1. The licence is current

A licence that has lapsed or been suspended fails the check.

2. The class fits the work

For roof work the class is roof tiling, or roof and wall cladding. Gutters and downpipes come under the roof and wall cladding class or the metal fascias and gutters class.

3. The name matches

The name on the licence must match the business that will quote the work.

The plan is to show the licence number, and the date it was last checked, next to the roofer's name once a roofer is named on this site. Anyone can repeat the check, because the QBCC register is public and open to anyone.

How facts on this site are sourced and dated

The test every number on cairnsroofers.com has to pass is one question: could you check this yourself, or can we show you where it came from? If the answer is no, the number stays off the site. Star ratings, review counts, years in business and price ranges have no source we can show you yet, so the site leaves them out.

• Weather timing is given as a rough season, not exact dates. For example, the wet season runs roughly from November to April, with the heaviest rain from January to March.
• Licence classes and what each covers are taken from the QBCC, the body that issues building licences in Queensland.
• Any other figure, such as a cost, a percentage or a building standard, appears only when it comes from a source that can be named.
• The facts on this page were checked in October 2026, just before it was published.
