Is the quote free?
Yes. It costs you nothing to send a request. If the roofer takes the job, they quote it and you decide whether to go ahead.
Who does the work?
An independent roofer who holds a current QBCC licence. A person at Just Digital reads your request and passes it by hand to that one roofer, after the licence is checked on the public register. This site does not do roofing work.
Are the roofers licensed?
Roof work worth more than $3,300 in Queensland needs a QBCC licence in the right class. Ask for the licence number and check it on the QBCC register before you agree. The register is public, and anyone can search it online.
When will someone call?
The service is new, and it cannot promise a reply time. A person reads each request and passes it on by hand. The roofer decides whether to take the job and arranges a look and a written quote.
What should I ask the roofer?
The licence number, a written quote, what the warranty covers, whether the fixings are cyclone rated and whether they are insured.
Do you cover storm damage?
Yes. The form takes text only, so describe the damage, and keep photos on your phone for when the roofer gets in touch and for your insurer.
